Helen Dorothy Rodgers

Helen Dorothy Hunt Rodgers, 85 of North Bennington, VT passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 12, 2023. Helen was born in Lawrence, MA on March 3, 1938, the daughter of C. Winthrop and Beatrice A. (Leighton) Hunt. She was raised in Littleton, MA and was a graduate of Littleton High School. She married William R. Rodgers on November 11, 1960. Mr. Rodgers passed away on January 9, 2007. In her earlier years Helen worked for the Littleton, MA Light and Water Department. She then ran her own House Cleaning business for many years. Helen enjoyed crafting, knitting and bird watching. She was a hospital volunteer, a Grey Lady, for many years and loved spending time at their camp at Bald Hill Pond in Westmore, VT. Helen is survived by her daughters; Lisa and Frederick A. Eszterhazi III, Kristine Davis and her partner John O. Murphy, Tracy and Paul T. Micali and Charlene and Joshua J. Crawford. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Justin Rodgers-Davis, Lindsay and Luke Davis-Demers, Erin P. Micali, David P. Micali, Erick Eszterhazi IV and Brianna and Erick Mulready, her great grandchildren; Chase William Griffis, Zoey Grace Pleasant, Peyton Mulready, Lily Mulready and Easton Mulready. Her companion, Frank Kozo, her sister; Priscilla Deane, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pearl and Jack Skirus and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Helen will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 11:30 a.m.at the Mahar Funeral Home in Bennington, VT.
