Harold Lawrence Beagle, 68, a resident of Gore Road in Bennington, VT passed away suddenly due to a recent illness.
He was born at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California July 3, 1953. He was the son of the late Harold R. Beagle Sr. and Elaine N. (Avra) Beagle. Harold was a 1972 graduate of Hudson Falls High School in New York.
He retired from NSK of Bennington after 20 years. Harold was a skilled carpenter. As a young man, Harold worked for Goodsell Construction in Gansevoort, NY. Harold, along with his friend Paul Dicranian owned and operated Two Guys Siding of Bennington.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Harold was pre-deceased by his wife Gretchen Beagle who passed July 24, 2020.
Survivors include his children, Tracie Beagle (Brecht) of Delmar, NY, Christina Beagle Clark (Ted) of East Greenbush, NY, Shawn Beagle of Greenfield, NY, Nadine Beagle (Chris) of Shaftsbury, VT, Dylan Beagle of Bennington, VT. A step son, Jason Peacock of Bennington. His grandchildren MiaLynn Beagle, Sarah Brecht, Alex Brecht, Rachel Brecht, Mason Clark and Paige ClarkHis siblings, Cathleen Beagle Bennett (Ed) of Saratoga Springs, NY. Wanda Beagle-Savage (Mike) of Glens Falls, NY, Sonya Beagle " Burke (Manny) of Nassau, NY, William E. Beagle of Bennington, Terry R. Beagle (Ann) of Gloversville, NY, Aaron M. Beagle (Marion) of Whitehall, NY, Harold R. Beagle Jr (Elizabeth) of Corinth, NY and Daniel E. Beagle of Dorchester, S.C. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a step brother, Howard E. Beagle as well as his step sister, Paulette E. Haas (Beagle).
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Friday September 10, 2021 from 3:00 to 5;00 p.m.
A service of remembrance will be offered on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home
