Gordon F. Muckle Jr.

He was born in Waukegan, Illinois April 22, 1949. He was the son of the late Gordon F. Muckle Sr. and Lillian (Sweet) Muckle. Gordy received his education in Bennington and was a graduate of Bennington High School.
He married the former Renelle Bartlett on May 20, 1967 at Sacred Heart Church in Bennington.
In earlier years Gordy was employed at the BenMont Paper Company and Globe Union. He later worked as a machinist at Lauzon's Machine Shop from which he retired.
He was a former member of the Bennington Moose Lodge and Bennington Eagles. He was a member of the Bennington Elks Lodge # 567. Gordy enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed sports, watching football and western movies.
Survivors include his wife, Renelle Muckle of Bennington. A daughter and son in law Tammy-Jo Webb and Michael of Bennington. A son and daughter in law, Travis Muckle and Shelagh of Bennington. Seven grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Mike, Ivorie, Ian, Kelsey and Gordon IV. Six great grandchildren, Karsen, Aryanna, Maleah, Bryer, Baine and Embree. His brothers and sisters, Michael Muckle (PJ) of Bennington, Brenda Matteson of Sunderland, Pat Galusha of Bennington, David Muckle of Texas and Debbie Nungesser of Florida. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a son Gordon F. Muckle III.
At Mr. Muckle's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
The family would like to receive relatives and friends at their home, 14 Center Street, in Bennington on Sunday December 22, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
