Gary L King

Gary Lee King, 62, of Bennington, Vermont, passed away peacefully at his home on July 27, 2023. An avid hunter, he built his legacy on Chapel Road with love for his family and friends and an appreciation for the outdoorsy lifestyle of a Vermonter over many years. He loved cookouts and family gatherings and recently discovered the joy of smoking meats that he liked to share. He had a passion for flipping vehicles and made a living wheeling and dealing throughout New England and beyond. His unwavering love and support were felt by everyone in his life, and he will be forever in our hearts. He is survived by a son, Zack King (Michaela King); a daughter Amanda Sausville-Smith (Frank Sausville-Smith); a grandson, Hunter King; his three brothers, Rick King, Frank King, Jr., and Wayne King; three sisters, Linda Hunt, Sherry Davis (Kevin Davis) and Bev Emery as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved with all his heart. The family will be holding a small, private celebration of life at a later time.
