Gary J. ""Gary Joe"" Gore (Gore)

He was born in Bennington, VT February 23, 1967. He was the son of the late Gary M. Gore and Carolyn Anne (Johnson) Gore who survives. He received his education in Bennington and was a 1985 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.
He married the former Tracey Shaw at the family home on Pucker Hill September 20, 2014.
While in 7th grade Gary started working at Fairdale Farms in Bennington. He worked at the farm throughout high school. He later worked at WCW Carpets in Bennington and owned and operated Gary's Carpet.
An avid outdoorsman, Gary loved hunting and fishing with his friends. He enjoyed motocross racing, boating and gardening. He loved to spend time with his wife, especially at the Sportsman's Camp Ground and Cottages in Addison, VT.
Survivors include his wife Tracey Gore of Bennington, two daughters, Alexis and Chloe Gore of Bennington. Two step-daughters, Julie Sukuskas of Burlington, VT and Diane Sukuskas of Berkshire, VT, 5 step-grandchildren that he considered his grandchildren, his mother Carolyn Gore of Bennington, his maternal grandmother, Ellen (Myers) Statia and family of Washington, his aunts and uncles, Judith and Tom Thompson and family of Bennington, Edward Brandi and family of Bennington, Linda and Thomas Cross and family of Washington, Darcy and John Patterson and family of Washington, Scott Statia and family of Washington, Wendy Cramer and family of Washington and Harry Statia and family of Germany. His Godparents, Fred Royal of Bernardston, MA and Cheryl Lettre of Bennington. His special friends since the first grade John Wilkinson and Robbie Holden both of Bennington. He was pre-deceased by an aunt Nancy Brandi and an uncle Randy Gore.
A memorial service to celebrate Gary's life will be held at the Vermont Veterans Home All Faith's Chapel in Bennington on Friday June 23 at 1;00 p.m. with Richard Setzer officiating.
The burial will take place in the family lot at Park Lawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

The family would especially like to thank the Shaftsbury Medical Staff, Bennington Area Hospice and the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center for the special care that they offered to Gary and his family.
