Gale Ann Wisher

January 7, 1944 — October 29, 2024

Gale Ann Wisher, 80, of Bennington, VT passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children on October 29, 2024. Gale was born in Bennington on January 7, 1944, the daughter of Carroll and Anna (Elwell) Cross. She was married to Bernard Wisher who predeceased her.

Gale had many jobs throughout her lifetime, however, her most fulfilling was being a home care provider for her bonus son, John Alexander.

Gale enjoyed playing cards, singing, and traveling but most of all going for drives in her convertible with the top down, “Cruisin Main Street.” Gale’s laughter filled every room she was in and will be greatly missed.

Gale is survived by her children; Daniel Mulvey of Bennington, VT and Tammy (Thomas) Mendoza of Bennington, her granddaughter, Brooke Mendoza and a brother, Mirle Cross of New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Gale was predeceased by her sister, Linda Corey.

Graveside services will be held for Gale at the White Chapel Cemetery in Bennington on Saturday November 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM
