Francis Edward Midurski

January 7, 1948 — November 10, 2016

Frank Edward Midurski, the man with a perpetual smile which always kept us guessing"¦ The man with Polish Power and once referred to as the Jolly Green Giant of North Bennington, VT, passed away on November 10, 2016. His passing was marked by his last courageous attempt to regain his health and quality of life. For those of us who knew Frank intimately, we mourn a man who loved us unconditionally and with loyalty. His generosity of spirit and kindness were always there for those who loved him. And many did- friends, acquaintances and above all, family. We will forever watch the NY JETS in his memory and be grateful we never suffered his wrath. We will listen intently to the lyrics of every Rolling Stones song and remember his cherished band. Above all else, we will remember how one man made a difference in the lives of all of his loved ones.
Frank was predeceased by his father, Edward Midurski and his mother Nellie Snyder Midurski. He lost his brothers Joseph and Ted Midurski in 2011, and sister Barbara Midurski in 2009. Frank is survived by his wife, Mari O'Donnell, and his eldest son Jonah Thiem and wife Julie, from his first marriage with Nancy Myers. He is also survived by his children with Mari; Jodie, Faith, and Gregory Midurski and Adam Broadbent. POPS was also the grandfather to his eldest son's children Sienna, Oliver and Alura Thiem.
He leaves behind his beloved sisters and brothers-in-laws; Kathy( Midurski) and Rick Taddeo , Irena( Midurski) McClain, Lynn Midurski , Carrie Midurski and John and Veronica O'Donnell. Their beautiful children and grandchildren: Sara (Taddeo) and Matt Cendrowski and children, Tristan and Vivienne; Alex Taddeo, Will, Mike and Jim McClain, Zach Midurski and Matthew, Chris and Stefan Midurski and Kullen and Magdelana O'Donnell. He leaves behind his mother-in-laws; Kathy Hoisington Eckstein and Julie O'Donnell. He was pre-deceased by his father-in-laws; John O'Donnell, Jr. and Jerome Eckstein.
Frank is also survived by his cherished ACUSHNET/NEW BEDFORD tribe-HIS COUSINS; Pete and Pat, Steve, Paula , Donna and Tom, Marianne and Ed, Nancy, Margie and Bob, Mary, and all of their cherished children; with a special place in his heart for Margaret and Stephanie Midurski.
Frank, you were a DAD to many and Best Buddy to all: in special remembrance for your other kids: Bryan Jacinto, Marie Robertson, Shaina Robertson, Dara Percey, Sam Pickert, Alex Bennett and Raven DeTraglia. He loved you crazy kids!
P.S. Frank also left behind his collection of furry mates! Flynn, Lili, Logan, Rocky, Elvis, George, Gracie, Jet, Jazz, Skylar and his favorite, Saucie.
We will carry your heart, Frank, forever in our hearts!
