EVA O'DELL OBITUARY
POWNAL, VERMONT

Mrs. Eva O'Dell, age 85 a resident of Pownal died on Thursday, November 28, 2019 following along illness. She was born in Bennington on December 18, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Elma (LaPoint) Leonard. She received her education in local schools. In 1955 she married Kenneth O'Dell in Bennington. Mr. O'Dell survives.
Over the years, she had been employed at the Jard Company, Tansitor Electronics, and was working at Mack Molding in Pownal at the time of her retirement. Eva had been a former member of the Pownal Protective Fire Association Auxiliary. Eva was a hard worker, who loved her family and loved hosting holiday gathering at her home. Her family always came first.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children: Linda (Keith) Bishop of Shaftsbury, VT and son Craig (Crystalee) O'Dell of Pownal. Eva leaves her six grandchildren: Justin Bishop, Jada Bishop, Joshua Bishop, Mariah Andrew, Ashley Winchell and Brodie O'Dell, as well as her great grandchildren: Amarah, Sawyer, Bentley, Aalaiah, and Layla
Eva is also survived by two sisters: Marion Noyes and Shirley Carroll and two brothers Nelson Leonard and Ralph Leonard. Eva has several nieces and nephews also, and her dog, Buck. She is predeceased by several sisters.
Service will be held on Tuesday evening, December 3, 2019 at 6:30PM at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00PM until the time of the services.
