Ethel "Pat" Croff

BENNINGTON, VERMONT
Ethel H. "Pat" Croff, age 88, a former resident of North Branch St., in Bennington, and currently a resident of Crescent Manor Care Centers, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington following a long illness.
She was born on September 18, 1929 in Hebron, New York and was the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Hicks.
She married Gerald A. Croff in Rupert, VT on February 22, 1947. Mr. Croff died on April 30, 1994.
In early years, Mrs. Croff was employed at Union Carbide Corporation in Bennington from which she retired.
Ethel was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bennington.
She is survived by two sons: Gregory B. Croff and Gerald J. Croff, both of Bennington.
Ethel also leaves seven grandchildren: Michael Main, Stephen Main, Kathy Lingener, Keegan Pollak, Brad Croff, Tyler Croff, Greg Croff, and Ben Croff, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves on special friend Susan Walsh.
She is predeceased by two daughters: Shareen Callahan and Kathleen Croff.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 9, at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home at 1:00PM.
Interment will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. There are no calling hours scheduled.
