Estelle M Robinson

Estelle M. Robinson, 78, of Bennington, VT passed away at her home on August 30, 2024. Estelle was born in Albany, NY on July 1, 1946, the daughter of Charles E. and Mabel (Laman) Brasie. She received her early education in Catskill, NY before moving to Bennington. She obtained her high school diploma in 1994.

Estelle worked at the BCIC, the Vermont Veterans Home and in housekeeping at Crescent Manor. Estelle then went back to school for human services and started child care. She was a child development assistant for 10 years with Generations Day Care and then with the hospital day care. She had also worked for a time at the learning Tree and Subway.
She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Bennington and Rutland. Her relationship with God and her family were very important to her. She was most recently a member of the Missionary Alliance Church.

Estelle is survived by her children; Charles (Crystal) Robinson of Marion, NY, Norman II (Angie( Robinson of Bennington, VT, Maybelle (Louis) Burdick of Bennington, VT and Harriet Woodard of Bennington, VT, her mother-in-law and roommate, Linda Robinson, her grandchildren; Amanda (Steve) Johnson, Christopher Robinson, CJ Robinson, Jennifer (Josh) Williams, Norman Robinson III, Ashley Robinson, Alyssa (Gregory) Campbell, Michael LaCroix, Cory Borden, Ellen Woodard, Morgan Robinson and Ava Robinson, her great-grandchildren; Ruby Johnson, Simon Johnson, Arabella Robinson, Archer Robinson, Skylar Smith, Nova Anguiano, Peyton Williams and Dean Stratton. She is also survived by her sisters; Charlene Shewell, Madeline Wright and Etola (Jim) Salmon. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her grandmother, Beatrice.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Missionary Alliance Church on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Following the service a celebration of life for Estelle will take place in the church hall with light refreshments being served. The family requests that contributions in Estelle's’ memory be made to the Cancer Center Community Crusaders (The 4 C’s) or the Missionary Alliance Church through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main Street Bennington, VT 05201.
