Eric Anthony Moyer (Moyer)

April 21, 1945 — December 28, 2016

Eric Anthony Moyer, age 71, of Manchester, VT died on Tuesday, December 27,
2016. He was born in Ann Arbor, MI on April 21, 1945 and was the son of the late Dr.
Carl A. and Alice E. (Chartrand) Moyer. He graduated from Northern Michigan
University and he was highly regarded by many student's throughout his teaching
career. He retired from Manchester Elementary Middle School. Eric enjoyed many
hobbies including playing the guitar, fly fishing, music, golfing, camping and canoeing. He
was a world renowned whistler, and his contagious sense of humor will be missed
and never forgotten. Survivors include his loving children, Carolyn Lavallee and
Jonathan (Jackie) Moyer, his two grandchildren, Landyn and Dania Lavallee and his
beloved English Setter, Maggie. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Redmond, his
brother, Dr. Carl (Patricia) Moyer as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a time to be announced.
