EMMA LEE RUSSELL OBITUARY
WHITE CREEK, NEW YORK

Emma Lee Russell, age 77, a resident of Shaftsbury Hollow Road, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 12, 2018 at the Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Bennington, VT on July 16, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Scott and Clare (Marsh) Harrington. Emma is the widow of Harold Russell (Rusty). Emma received her education in local schools and was a graduate of Bennington High School.

For several years Emma worked at Eagle Square in production and in the Payroll Office. Emma worked for the last few years, before retiring, at Green Mountain Express. Emma enjoyed reading, collecting jewelry, doing ceramics and was an avid animal lover.

Survivors include her brothers: Robert J. Harrington and Sharon Gardner of Hoosick Falls, NY, Timothy Barbeau and Maryellen Richardson of Woodford, VT and Randy Harrington and Belinda Briggs of Hoosick, NY.

She leaves several nieces and nephews including; Mark, Matthew and Emma Harrington, Robert and Erin Harrington, Jr., Elizabeth and Benjamin Hedrick, Christina and Robert Tybring. She also leaves great nieces and nephews; Taylor and Jude Harrington, Benjamin Jr., Josiah and Lily Grace Hedrick.

Emma Lee is predeceased by her parents, her husband Harold Russell, and her twin brother Scott Harrington.

Graveside committal services will be held on Thursday afternoon, September 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Rosewood Cemetery in White Creek, NY. There are no calling hours scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter in Shaftsbury, VT.
