Emily Grace Hamann, 26, a resident of Division St. in Bennington, VT died unexpectedly Monday January 18, 2021 in Bennington.
She was born in Bennington, VT July 27, 1994. She was the daughter of Clifford Hamann and Kelly (Brundige) Carroll. Emily received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School class of 2012. She later graduated from Cosmetology School.
Emily worked in the restaurant business over the years including Burger King 4 years, The Hermitage Club in Wilmington and Mount Anthony Country Club.
She was a very good artist. She loved music, piercings and tattoos. She loved animals especially her dog Aldo. She also enjoyed going to the beach, weekend trips to Boston, shopping and Rollercoaster rides with her mom.
Survivors include her son Cillian, her father Clifford Hamann and Lynn Gates of Bennington, her mother Kelly (Walt) Carroll of Bennington. Her twin sister Olivia Hamann and her brother Cody Hamann both of Bennington. Her half sister, Lori-Anne Hamann of Waltham, MA. Her maternal grandmother, Betty Brundige of Bennington and a niece Toriana Jolie Hamann of Waltham, MA., a step sister Shellie (Jarrod) Adkins from Harrison, AR., niece Avery Burch and nephew Daynan Burch, also from Harrison, AR as well as Lynn's daughter Samantha Weber and her son Ashton of Bennington.
Due to Covid restrictions, services for Emily will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
A public candlelight vigil will be held at the Bennington Four Corners on Saturday January 23, at 7:00 p.m. with the family in attendance. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
