Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Salmon

Elizabeth "Lizzie" J. Salmon, 68, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2022 at Crescent Manor. She was born on November 29th, 1953 to Dorothy Abear and the late Clark Salmon in Bennington, Vermont.

Lizzie resided in Ticonderoga, New York for many years before recently moving back to Bennington to be closer to her family. She was a very independent and intelligent woman. Lizzie found great enjoyment in art, and loved to spend her time coloring or drawing. She was a very gifted artist.

Lizzie is survived by her mother, Dorothy Vollor, of Bennington, VT. Her siblings; Kenneth (Rita) Vollor, of Bennington, VT, Dennis (Dorothy) Salmon, of FL, James (Etola) Salmon, of Waterbury, VT, Mary Long, of East Nassau, NY, and Joann McDonald, of Bennington, VT. Lizzie is also survived by multiple step-siblings, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Clark Salmon II and a step-brother, Walter Frankie Vollor.
Services for Lizzie will be held privately by the family. She will be buried in the family lot in the Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Albans, Vermont.
