Eleanor Elizabeth Brown (Daniels)

Eleanor Elizabeth Brown, age 99, a resident of Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center, died on Saturday, October 17, 2020 following a long illness.

Eleanor was born in North Adams, Massachusetts on March 7, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bernice (MacIntyre) Daniels. She received her education in North Adams Schools. She is the widow of Everett Carl Brown. For several years, she worked at Sprague Electric Company as an Assembler. Eleanor was an avid seamstress and a good housekeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Ann Longtin of Bennington, Vermont, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and one niece, Marcia Donega, and many great nieces and great nephews. Eleanor is predeceased by two children: Carl Richard Osterhoudt and Gloria L. Gagnon. She is also predeceased by her siblings: Arthur Daniels, Jr. Gerald T. Daniels, Stewart B. Daniels, Ivis Lewis, Dorothy Whitehead, and Constance Daniels.

There are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. The Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington, Vermont is assisting the family at this time.
