Edward V. Redcross

Edward V. Redcross Jr, 58, a resident of West Main St. in Bennington, VT died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his residence following a brief illness.

He was born in Troy, New York January 3, 1964. He was the son of the late Edward Vincent Redcross Sr. and Emily (Ruggles) Harrington. Ed received his education in Hoosick Falls and Bennington.

Ed was self-employed as a carpenter. He was a jack of all trades. He could do most anything. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and four wheelers. He also liked RC Cars.

Survivors include his children, Vincent J. Redcross of New Lebanon, NY., Savanah M. Redcross of Hoosick Falls, NY and Heather M. Redcross of Rensselaer, NY, a granddaughter, Jada Redcross of Rensselaer, NY. His girlfriend, Catherine A. Wujcik of Bennington. Three sisters, Tammy Ruggles, Catherine Sousie and Michelle Redcross along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by a sister, Janice Redcross Schultz and a brother, Aaron Gibbons, Jr.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Saturday Feb 19, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

A celebration of Edwards life will be held at 3:00 p.m.
