Edward Anthony Mason

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of SMSgt Edward A Mason (ret) on 20 Feb 2023 after a battle with cancer. Ed served on active duty in AFTAC from July 1977 - July 2001. After retirement, he spent a short time at ZELTEC then returned to the AFTAC building as a GS until his passing. Ed is survived by his wife Rosanne of 42 years, daughter Jessica, son-in-law Robert, grandson Ralph, Mother Margaret, sister Louise, and his brothers Pat, John, Dan, Michael, and Robert. Ed was preceded in death by his father, William Mason and brother James. Ed will be buried in a Private Ceremony in his hometown of Bennington Vermont on March 8th. Funeral service with be held at Mahar and Son funeral home on March 8th at 11 o'clock for family and close friends. The family is requesting that donations in Edwards's memory be made to St Francis Reflections Lifestage Care 250 N Wickham Road, Melbourne FL 32935 or the Wounded Warriors Foundation through the office of the Mahar Funeral Home 628 Main Street Bennington, VT 05201. Ed’s smile, wit, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
