DOROTHY WEEKS OBITUARY
BENNINGTON, VERMONT

Dorothy Percey "Dotty" Weeks, age 83, a resident of Bennington, VT, died on Saturday, April 21, 2018 following a long illness.

Dorothy was born in Bennington on June 20, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Azelda (Mulligan) Percey. She received her education in Bennington schools.

She married Earl "Norm" Weeks on December 23, 1964 in Hoosick Falls, NY. He died April 28, 2012.

Dotty has been employed as a waitress at the Northside Diner and the Blue Benn. She has also worked at Energizer in Bennington, from where she retired. Throughout her retirement she continued to work at the Manes House. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, The VFW and the Moose Club. Dorothy loved to read, and was an avid cat lover. In earlier years she had raised poodles. She was always there with a helping hand, and was a great care giver to Norm.

Survivors include her nephews: Randy Gerity, Steve (Kathleen) Gerity, her great niece Brittany Lampp and her very special great great nieces: Brilann and Dessa, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington. Interment will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00pm until the time of the services.
