Dorothy June O'Shea

Dorothy June (Kritzman), 71 of Bennington, VT, passed away unexpectedly on July 16th 2023 at the Albany Medical Center. She was the beloved widow of John N. O'Shea. Dorothy was born on June 24th, 1952 in Waterbury, CT to the late Michael and Katherine (Burgio) Kritzman. Dorothy received her education in Waterbury and married the love of her life, the late John N. O'Shea, on March 2, 1974. Dorothy's passion was helping with everyone's children. She was a welcoming woman who opened her home to so many. Eventually they all called her "Gram." Dorothy is survived by her sons; Marty (Dar) O'Shea, John (Penny) O'Shea, Michael (Jessica) O'Shea, her daughters: Jessica O'Shea and Stefanie (Jeremy) O'Shea. She is also survived by her grandsons; John, Shane, Michael, Dyllan, Arron, Colby and Payton, granddaughters; Jessica, Tyler (Josh), Michelle (Zeke), Jayva and Trianna, her great grandkids; Tobias, John III, Alex, Kayden, Serenity and Lorenzo. Dorothy is survived by her sisters; Mary Fitzpatrick, Christine (Bob) Bachman, Judy Levin and Annette Kritzman. Dorothy was predeceased by her brothers; Tommy and Michael Kritzman and sisters; Kathy Fitzherbert and Josephine Perugini. Friends may call at the Mahar Funeral Home in Bennington on Friday July 21, 2023 from 1:30-3:30 PM.
