Dorothy Mae Mcintire (Bronson)

Dorothy Mae McIntire, 87, widow of Floyd McIntire, a resident of Beech Street, died Friday, November 30, 2018 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Bennington on August 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Jennie (Williams) Bronson.
Dorothy received her education in the Bennington schools. Dorothy and Floyd were married May 6, 1950 in Bennington. Floyd died September 29, 2008.
For many years she was employed at Bijur Lubricating Company in Bennington until the time of her retirement.
Survivors include two children, Debbie Green of Cramerton, NC and Kenneth McIntire of Bennington; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Green, Tracy McIntire, Nicole Minchew and Stephanie Betourney; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Stoessel and Marie Guimond, bnoth of Bennington; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was predeceased by a sister and brother, Margaret Federico and Sonny Bronson.
Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A brief prayer service will be offered at the close of the visitation.
Private burial will take place in the family lot in Oak Hill Cemetery, Pownal, at the convenience of the family
