SHAFTSBURY

Dorothy E. Heilmann, 95, of Shaftsbury and formerly of New Jersey passed away peacefully on October 28, 2019.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis, her sister Tosca and her brother Walter. She is survived by her loving daughter Claire, with whom she lived. She is also survived by a niece, Joan Hauck and a nephew, Eugene Pfeiffer.

Dottie will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her ever-present smile and the ease with which she shared her love with family and friends.

Over the years she enjoyed watching and feeding backyard birds, sharing her food with the pets in her life. And watching Father Brown Mysteries and various "British Comedies" on PBS.

Burial will be private in New Jersey and at the convenience of the family.
