POWNAL- Dolores Pruden, 77, a resident of Route 7 in Pownal, Vermont, passed away peacefully following a long illness.
She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 31, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (0'Gara) lannelli. Dolores received her early education at Saint Mary's of Broadway and later graduated from Lockwood High School in Warwick, Rhode Island.
On June 20, 1965 she married Kenneth Pruden at St Bartholomew's Church.
Dolores was mainly a homemaker, but worked for a few years as a housekeeper at the Ramada Inn in Bennington, VT. She also worked for a short time at the Ames store in Bennington.
She was selfless, empathetic, caring, loving, friendly and a wonderful conversationalist. She loved music and family movie nights. Above all, she loved her family more than anything.
Dolores is survived by her husband of over 55 years: Kenneth Pruden. Her children Kenneth Pruden and Deborah Burke . A sister Deborah Walton. Two grandchildren Christopher Pruden and Zechariah Burke. A great grandson; Roman Pruden As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother. Frank R. lannelli.
At this time there will be no services for Dolores.
