Dennis M. Winchell Sr.

Dennis Milo Winchell Sr., 58, a resident of Kenney Farm Road, died due to an illness on Tuesday afternoon, June 27, 2017 at his home.
Born in Granville, NY on November 6, 1958, he was the son of the late Leonard Winchell Sr, and Dorothy O'Connell Winchell.
Dennis worked as a self-employed painter until his illness in 2008. He enjoyed mechanics and engine repair. Dennis also enjoyed dirt bike racing with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Morse Winchell of Sunderland; three sons, Travis Winchell, Dennis Winchell Jr. and Brandon Morse of Sunderland. two daughters, Denise Cross (James) of Danby and Sarah Winchell of Rutland. He is also survived by three granddaughters, six grandsons, and several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Edward O'Connell of Sunderland.
Graveside committal services will take place on Friday, June 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland with Rev. Kathleen S. Clark, Pastor of The Federated Church of East Arlington officiating.
Should friends desire memorial contributions in Dennis M. Winchell Sr. memory may be made to one's favorite charity or to the family to help offset final expenses. Friends are invited to join the family back at the house on 223 Kenney Hill Road in Sunderland.
Following the service friends are invited to return to the family home for a time of sharing and rememberance.
