Deborah G. McDonald, 63, a resident of East Road in Shaftsbury, VT died Friday August 7, 2020 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born in Bennington, Vermont December 1, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Myron and Norma (Langlois) Greene.
Debbie received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. She married Bernard McDonald in 1990. They were married by Justice of the Peace, Mo Harrington.
For 40 years Debbie had been employed at Eveready in Bennington from which she retired.
She enjoyed boating and spending time at her pool and camp on Lake Champlain. She loved her dog Patches.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard R. McDonald of Shaftsbury. A daughter Jessica Campbell of Bennington. A son, Jason Dunn of Bennington. Three grandchildren, Lauren Campbell and Jeffrey and Kaitlyn Dunn. Three sisters, Sandra Dunican, Shelly LeBlanc and Paula Horan. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a sister Ellen Emily Greene and a brother Myron H. Greene Jr..
At Debbie's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services. The burial will be in the family lot at the Waite Cemetery in Shaftsbury, Vermont at the convenience of the family.
