DAVID BROOKMAN OBITUARY
BENNINGTON, VERMONT

A final farewell to a son, brother, uncle and cousin who passed away on August 25, 2018 and joined our departed family. As a young boy David was a quiet, peaceful boy with such loving qualities. David always lived his life with the thoughts of kindness and giving to others before himself. Following graduation David joined the airline industry and became a steward. During that time he met his loving partner, Michael in Texas.
Following Michael's passing, David then changed his career to his life time passion of baking and decorating. This was his true talent and joy. David then relocated to Idaho to help care for his sister and nephew, until her passing. David remained in Idaho and continued in the bakery field until his passing. David had a few close friends that he cherished so deeply. He lived his life by putting others first and was always there to help others in need. He was a simple kind man that truly shined without all the sparkle and glitter in life. He will be truly missed and will be remembered as a man who walked his path softly throughout his life, but left behind the true meaning of love and kindness along with the true meaning of friendship. David will be forever missed by so many.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12;00PM at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. There are no calling hours scheduled.
The Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington is assisting the family at this time.
