David Roger Bentley

David R. Bentley, 30, of Bennington, Vermont died on February 17, 2025 at his residence.

David was born in Cambridge, NY on July 25, 1994 to Diana and Darrin Jones.

David attended schools in Albany, NY. He enjoyed sports like basketball, soccer, and softball. David was active in the Special Olympics. He also enjoyed playing video games in his spare time. To David, family was incredibly important to him.

David is survived by his girlfriend, Celene Blair; his mother and father, Diana and Darrin Jones; his sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Damian Andrew; sisters, Melody Bentley, Susan Steffeck (Chris); and his brother, Jordon (Selena). He is also survived by his beloved buddy, Scooby Dog.

David was predeceased by his niece and nephew, Brooklynn Andrew and Jayden Bentley. He is also predeceased by his grandparents, Linda Reynolds and Carroll Reynolds.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Bennington Police, Bennington Rescue Squad, and UCS for all of their assistance.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life for David at the Willow Road Firehouse on March 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
