Darcy Lynn Volkmer

January 22, 1964 — February 24, 2023

BENNINGTON- Darcy Lynn Volkmer, 59, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away unexpectedly on February 24th, 2023. She was born in Bennington, VT on January 22nd, 1964, daughter of Beverly Bull Volkmer. Darcy spent the majority of her life living in North Pownal and Bennington. She graduated from Mt. Anthony Union Highschool before continuing her education by attending LPN school. Her career as an LPN was cut short due to a back injury. She was the best LPN, always one to lend a hand to an aide and had the best bedside manner. She was an angel to everyone. Darcy had an infectious laugh, a cute smile, and was full of life, carefree and fiercely loyal to her family. She loved to hike Mt. Anthony and The White Rocks. Darcy loved to dress like she lived her life, big and bold. She was a life that was taken too soon. Darcy is survived by the love of her life, Ronnie Chenard, Ronnie’s mother, Pam Hall. Her loving sister and best friend, Marcy Volkmer. Her dear niece Paige Guetti, who she thought the world of. Her loving Aunt Sylvia Bull. Many wonderful cousins she was close to, including her cousin Todd Lipscomb, who she enjoyed many shopping trips and laughs with. As well as many close and loyal friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Beverly Bull Volkmer; her grandparents, William and Margaret Bull, who helped raise her; Uncles Charles Lipscomb, Aunt Patsy Lipscomb, Uncle Patrick Bull, Uncle William Bull, and Aunt Susan Bull. At this time, there will be no services for Darcy. A graveside burial will take place in the family lot at Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal in June. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the funeral home to help the family with expenses. Online guestbook condolences may be made to www.maharandsonfuneralhome.net
