Daniel F. Harrington

Daniel F. Harrington, 84, a resident of South Stream Road in Bennington died Monday July 11, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Boston, MA December 7, 1931. He was the son of the late John P. Harrington and Mary (McIsaac) Harrington. He received his education in Charlestown, MA

He married the former Edna Senecal on March 11, 1959 in Granville, New York.

Mr. Harrington served in the United States Navy for over 20 years.

Dan enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandson.

Survivors include his wife Edna Harrington of Bennington. Their children, Michael Harrington of Bennington, Sandra Mayer and her husband Daniel of Ocala, Florida, Amber Harrington of Pownal, VT and David Harrington of Panama City Beach, Florida. Eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two children, Donna and Daniel Harrington.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
