Crystal Lee (Mentiply) Ketcham, 35, a resident of Applegate Drive, Bennington, died peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family following a long illness.
Born in Bennington July 23,1984, she was the daughter of Alan Blake and Tina L. Mentiply. In addition to her mother, Crystal was also raised by her step-father, Roger Contois. She received her education in the Bennington schools and was a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School.
For several years Crystal was employed as a home health aide at BAYADA Home Health Care.
Crystal enjoyed all types of crafts and attending country fairs. She realized one of her dreams when she got to drive a derby car at the Deerfield Valley Fair in Wilmington this past summer.
Survivors include five children, Mackenzie Mentiply, Kylee Mentiply, Millie Mentiply, Myra Snyder and Odin Saddlemire; her mother, Tina Mentiply of Bennington; three sisters, Kassandra Mentiply and Kari Lynn Parker, both of Pownal and Gina Rae Mentiply of Cohoes, NY and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Crystal was predeceased by her step-father, Roger Contois.
A memorial service celebrating Crystal's life will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service
Private committal services will take place at the convenience of the family at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls, NY.
