Constance “Connie” June Radziejewski, 75, of Bennington, Vermont, passed away peacefully at her home on April 1st, 2025.
Connie was born in Rockville Center, NY in 1949 to Marie Brunagel and Stephen Radziejewski. Connie graduated from Arlington Memorial High School and briefly lived in New York City before returning to Vermont to start a career at Union Carbide Corporation in Bennington. She was always active in the community, working hard to support her family while still making time to fastidiously maintain her household and yard. She was an avid lifelong reader who frequented the local library down the street from her home, and enjoyed birdwatching, a glass of wine, and board games, especially Yahtzee, in her free time. In her retirement she spent time outside, including tending to her garden, enjoying her meticulously maintained pool, and traveling outside of Vermont to warm destinations like Mexico, Montserrat, and the Dominican Republic. She loved the holidays and a birthday never passed without a punctual card from Mom/Grandma.
Connie was preceded in death by her long-time partner Richard Woodward, and her parents Marie Brunagel and Stephen Radziejewski.
She is survived by her son, Tylar Myers (Jillian) of Hoosick Falls, NY, grandchildren Ethan Myers of Boston, MA, Clare Myers of Troy, NY, and Anna Myers of Troy, NY and great granddaughter Hayden Myers. Other survivors include her sister Donna Pickering (Harry), and nieces and nephew, Sarah, Amy, and Hooper Pickering.
A time for visitation will be held on Monday, April 7th, 2025 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Mahar and Son Funeral Home located in Bennington, Vermont, followed by a brief service.
