Colin J. Capella

January 27, 1993 — August 25, 2017

Colin Capella, 24, of Bennington, Vermont passed unexpectedly Friday, August 25, 2017. Colin was the son of Karen Post, Bennington and Wayne Hickey (Susan Weidman), Niskayuna, NY and affianced to Krystle Vincent, Bennington.

Colin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and spending time at his family camp with Krystle and his many friends. Colin loved animals and was devoted to his family pets. Colin was currently employed at Dwyer's 4 Seasons and previously worked for J&J Auto Polishing.

Colin was predeceased by his grandparents Carl and Patricia Capella, Bennington and Ethel Sandusky, Mckeesport PA as well as his uncle John Capella, Bennington.

Colin will remain lovingly in the heart of his sisters Erika Stone, Pismo Beach, CA and Stephanie Giroux, Troy, NY. as well as aunts, uncles and cousins including Allan Hickey (Cathy), San Antonio, TX; David Pufnock, Mesa, AZ; Father Joseph Feltz, Prospect, PA; Thomas Bricker (Karen), Wexford PA; Dennis Feltz, Evan City, PA. Dede Allard (John), Tyler Capella (Carrie), Canton NY, John Allard, Erika Allard, Andrea Allard and Steve Carbonaro.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1st at 11:00 AM at Mahar Funeral Home, 628 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, August 31, from 5-8PM.
