Christa Rose Vesper was born on March 27, 1987 and died on August 17, 2022.
She was born at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Bennington, VT to
Brian M. Vesper and Kathleen M. Vesper (Dunn).
Christa attended Mount Anthony Union High School, graduating with the Class of 2006
She then attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls Massachusetts in 2008.
Her first job was at Vermont confectionery where she loved serving ice cream. She later worked as a server at Chili's restaurant and most of her years of employment were in hospitality, including working at the front desk at the Hampton Inn in Bennington.
Christa loved photography and was very talented with the camera. She also loved traveling and taking road trips. She was always reading a book and scribbling her thoughts down on paper. She loved music, some of her favorites were Dave Matthews Band and Fiona Apple. In her younger years she was crazy about The Backstreet Boys and the Spice Girls.
She loved to wear red lipstick, big sunglasses, scarves and big earrings. It was kind of her trademark look.
Friends and family describe her as charismatic, loving, soulful, warm, creative, kind, spirited, a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was radiant!!
She was predeceased by both of her parents in 2021 and her infant brother, Jamie in 1985.
Surviving family members include cousins, aunts and uncles and devoted friends.
Services for Christa will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Her final resting place will be at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington, VT.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions in honor of Christa may be made directly to the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201 to assist the family with expenses.
