Cheryl F. Bailey (Corbett)

Everyone knew Cheryl as the lady with the purple hair. She was a spitfire, who did not care what others thought about her. She was always young at heart. She had a love of panda bears and she loved her cats, she was the crazy cat lady.
She was born on August 1, 1950 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Elizabeth Corbett (Rose) and Roland Corbett.
In her younger years, Cheryle worked at the Mace building in Bennington, VT, as well as various nursing homes, including Crescent Manor, Bennington Health and Rehab, and Fairwinds .
In her free time, she enjoyed laying out in the sun reading her books while sunbathing and drinking her Mountain Dew, going on hikes, especially to the Split Rocks in Woodford, VT, going to Hampton Beach in NH, swimming outback in the river, but most importantly she loved spending time with her daughter, granddaughters, and great grandchildren
She is survived by her only child, daughter Carla Libbey her "bug", of Bennington, VT, her sister Linda Libbey of Bennington, VT, her brother Stephen Corbett of Charlottesville, VA, her oldest granddaughter Danielle Gaudette her "princess", her youngest granddaughter Sierra Gaudette her "Scooter/Scoot-ta-Boot", her great grandson Kellin Gaudette her "BB/Beetle Bug" and her great granddaughter Bailey Gaudette her "Reeses" all from Bennington, VT. She is also survived by many of her nieces and nephews. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth Corbett (Rose) and Roland Corbett, her husband, Thomas G. Bailey, and her brother Roland Corbett Jr.
There will be no services on behalf of her wishes.
