Charles Merriam Lancour Jr.

He was born in Bennington, VT September 13, 1940. He was the son of the late Charles Lancour Sr. and Lillian (Julius) Lancour. Charles received his education in Bennington.
He married the former Sharon Ann LaMere in May of 1966-1970 Sharon died July 1, 2003.
He married to Judith Jimenez in Dec 1972 Judith died 2007
Charles enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Rainbow Family of Light. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He wrote poetry and was a great story teller. He was very fond of his dogs "Buddy" his ball crazy friend who stood by his side for 12 years.. and his sidekick & best friend Katuka aka Puppy Love who was always at his side keeping his spirits up. because of his blindness due to his diabetes. Who also passed away earlier 2016.
Survivors include his children, Mindy Jo "Lynn" Barber of Pownal, VT, Kristy Telford (Patrick Telford) of Silver Spring Florida, Daniel Caron (Linda Sousis) of Bennington, Holly Elizabeth Marie Whitchurch of Bennington and Mariah Jennifer Seamans (Henry Bishop) of Bennington; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A sister, Joyce Brine of North Bennington and a brother John Lancour of Queensbury, NY along with several nieces, nephews and cousins

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the family lot at Center Shaftsbury Cemetery in Shaftsbury, VT.
