Chad Michael Simmons

Chad Michael Simmons, 35 of Bennington, VT, passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 12, 2023. Chad was born in Bennington on January 7, 1988, the son of Jeffrey Clark and Georgette (Simmons) Sullivan. Chad was a 2006 graduate of Mount Anthony High School. Chad was a cook at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation for many years. He loved fishing and golfing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends more than anything. Chad was extremely close with his maternal grandmother, Sandra Burdick, who predeceased him. Chad is survived by his two daughters, Audrianna Simmons and Grace Simmons, his mother and step-father, Georgette and John Sullivan, and his father, Jeffrey Clark, all of Bennington; his siblings; Casandra Simmons, Timothy Susee, Trevor and Devon Sullivan and Curtis Simmons, all of Bennington and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the Bennington Rural Fire Department on Orchard Road in Bennington.
