Carolyn June Graham

June 26, 1940 — July 10, 2016

Carolyn June Graham, age 76, a resident of Walloomsac Apartments in Bennington died on Sunday morning, July 10, 2016 at Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Bennington on June 26, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Ned and Dorothy (Fancy) Towslee. She received her education in Bennington schools.

She married Charles Graham on December 23, 1967. He predeceased her on December 10, 1999.

Carolyn had been employed as a seamstress at CB Sport for several years, and prior to that, had been employed at Thomson Mill.

She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.

She is survived by one son Robert (Lori) Graham of Hoosick Falls, NY, and one step-daughter Paula Graham of Massachusetts.

She leaves three grandchildren: Aiden Graham, Anthony Chapones and Ashley Wheeler.

Carolyn is also survived by one sister Kathryn Hall of Bennington, two brothers; James "Joe" Towslee of Pownal, VT and Walter "Sam" Towslee of Woodstock, VT, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her husband, she is predeceased by one sister; Marjorie Roberts and one brother, Francis Towslee.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 14 at 1:00PM at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St. Bennington, VT. Interment will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
