Caroline S. Rousseau (Scarbo)

Caroline S. Rousseau, 84, a resident of Sawyer Drive in Bennington died Friday May 12, 2017 at her residence following a long illness.

She was born in North Bennington, VT February 27, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Theresa (Hynick) Scarbo. Caroline received her education in North Bennington.

She married Robert A. Rousseau October 14, 1950. Mr. Rousseau died November 11, 2011.

For 43 years Caroline was employed at Tansitor Electronics in Bennington.

She enjoyed gardening. Her home, family and grandchildren were her main interest.

Survivors include her children, Joan Loomis and her husband Jeff of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cindy Watson and her husband Hubert of Bennington and Mark Rousseau and his wife Debra of Bennington. Ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Francis, Frederick and Richard Scarbo.

Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday May 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

A graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday May 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington
