Carole A. Kenney (Bevis)

Carole A. Kenney, 77, a resident of Emma Street, Bennington, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born in Bennington on August 27, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances (Ross) Bevis. Carole received her education in the Shaftsbury and North Bennington Schools and was a 1960 graduate of North Bennington High School.

Carole married David H. Kenney on June 2, 1984 in Shaftsbury.

Carole was employed in the housekeeping department at Bennington College for many years prior to her retirement. Her greatest pleasure was time spent with her grandchildren and attending family functions.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Willard Stuart of Bennington; twin sons, Dan Cornell and his wife Kaitlin of North Adams, MA and David Cornell and his wife Melissa of Northport, FL; six grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, Taylor, Jonathan, Reagan and Olivia and a great-grandson, T. J. and also by nieces, nephews and cousins. Carole was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Charles Bevis.

At Carole's request private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in the family lot at Center Shaftsbury Cemetery.
