Carol Ann (Cumm) Beaudoin, 76, a resident of Beaudoin Lane in Bennington died Sunday April 11, 2021 at Brookdale at Fillmore Pond in Bennington following a long illness.
She was born in Bennington, VT July 28, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Edith (Meacham) Cumm. Carol received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Bennington High School.
She married Lionel Beaudoin in 1964.
Carol held positions at the Bennington Banner, Putnam Memorial Hospital, Army and Navy Store, and was employed as a secretary at Sacred Heart School in Bennington for over twenty years. For many years during her marriage to Lionel, Carol was the secretary for the family business, Joseph Beaudoin & Son.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church where she was a member of Saint Anne's Society. Additionally, Carol volunteered as a Gray Lady at SVMC for over twenty years. Carol enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and other crafts projects. Her family was her main interest.
Survivors include her husband, Lionel Beaudoin of Bennington. Her children, Michele Noble and Jo-Ann Beaudoin both of Bennington, Karen Anthony and her husband Mike of Irwin, PA and Matthew Beaudoin and his wife Jodi of Bennington. Eight grandchildren, Joselyn, Sarah, Taylor, Jordyn, Kayla, Jenifer, Tucker and Brady along with three great grandchildren. A brother, Timothy Cumm and his wife Darlene of Bennington along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington on Wednesday April 14 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 pm.
A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m.
The funeral will be held from Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales Church on Wednesday April 14 at 1:00 p.m. where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
