Calvin R. Ulitsch

Calvin R. “Kelly” Ulitsch, 69, a resident of Woodford, VT died Friday February 3, 2023 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT December 6, 1953. He was the son of the late Mildred Lavoie. Calvin received his education in CT. He married the former Virginia “Ginny” Pacheco on May 6, 1972. For 21 years Calvin had been employed by the State of Vermont Agency of Transportation. He retired in 2019. He was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, tinkering around the house doing projects and working on cars. He was an amazing grandfather and was known to many of the children as “Poppa”. Survivors include his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Ulitsch of Woodford. Two daughters, Christina Marriott (Matthew) of CT and Kelly Ulitsch of Bennington. Three granddaughters, Miranda Marriott of CT and Lexi Hutchins of Bennington and Izzy LeRoux of Woodford. Two brothers, Leonard Dailey of Florida and David Dailey (Jean Marie) of CT. A sister Ann Dailey of CT along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by a very close friend and fishing buddy, Tom Slee. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Tyler Marriott and two brothers Thomas and Harold Hair. At Calvin’s request there will be no services.
