Bonnie Mae Lavoie

January 2, 1951 — February 2, 2017

Bonnie Lavoie continued her path and has joined our Lord and Savior and has received her wings and is now watching over and guarding all of us along with her parents, David and Phyllis Bruso and her daughter Heidi.

Bonnie was born January 2, 1951 in Hoosick Falls, New York. She lived a life that was always on her terms. She didn't conform or care about being politically correct. She always believed strongly that everyone deserved to be loved regardless of circumstances.

Bonnie was well known among her friends and family for her strong will and personality with a vibrant love of life. She was the lady down the street for anyone in need of a friend, sister, mother or grandmother. You could always count on Bonnie to provide a listening ear, a word of encouragement, a ride somewhere, or even a meal if you were hungry. A coffee or soda if you were thirsty or a shirt to keep you warm.

She loved the summer season and often spent her days at her favorite fishing spot with her trusted best friend and four-legged pal "Tiny"

The loss of Bonnie is one that will be felt deep by many and will be a great loss to her neighbors in Addison and Bennington County. Most of all the deepest loss will be to her family whom she deeply loved. Each family member has a piece of Bonnie with them and in them. She truly left her mark on all the lives she touched.

She is survived by her son David Warner and his wife Tonia Huizenga-Warner of Bennington, VT, Dave's daughters, Taylor Reed and her husband Justin of Peru, NY, Samantha Warner and her son Gary "Boy" Warner and her partner Jeff Dashnaw of Plattsburgh, NY, Tonia's sons, Logan Burnett of Schenectady, NY and Austin and his son Bentley Burnett of Middlebury, VT, Michael Hatch and his wife Angela and their children of Randolph, VT and Brian Warner and his daughter Ashley Marie Alger of Bradenton, Florida. She had several foster children throughout the years. She is also survived by two sisters Mary and Josephine and several half- brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service for her family and friends of Addison County and beyond will be held at the Congregational Church in Vergennes on Saturday February 11, 2017 at noon.

Friends and family will be welcomed to join the family for some light food and sharing of memories and feelings for Bonnie
