Bobbi-Jo Dow, 52, a resident of Glastenview Drive, Shaftsbury, died Friday, January 18, 2019 at her residence following a long illness.
Born in Bennington on March 1, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Emily (Dawson) Dow. She received her education in the Bennington schools.
For many years Bobbi-Jo was employed as a housekeeper in the Stratton Mountain area.
She enjoyed time spent with her children, grand-children and friends. She loved cooking, camping, going to the beach and playing Skip-Bo. And of course her daily scratch off tickets.
Survivors include three children, Josh & Jennie Moon of Shaftsbury, Angela & Joseph Baker Dow of Bennington and Kaleigh & Matthew Saltmarsh Merrow of Shaftsbury; six grandchildren, Taelyn Baker, Jacob Moon, Aubreyonna Cutler, Jaxson Moon, Brantley Saltmarsh and Tanner David Saltmarsh who will be arriving soon; a sister, Bernice & Tim Bortell of Bennington; three half-brothers, John, Gary and Robert Dow, all of Adams, MA; 1 aunt, 1 uncle, 1 niece, and several nephews and cousins.
May she rest in peace and be reunited with her mother, father and sister, Nancy as well as her long lost friend, Joseph Predel, and her grandson Roman Cutler.
