Mom graduated from North Bennington High School and married Carl (Tommy) Jones, Pownal, Vt. and later John Dell'Anno from Italy, deceased.
Mom was an inspiration to all who knew her. She strived to be the best she could be in so many aspects of her life. She graduated from nursing school at the age of 55 and worked in various health care institutions where she was affectionately known as "Sarge". She was a second mom to many where she would inspire them to be their best and help them in any way she could to pursue their goals.
Mom was an avid gardener which she proudly and enthusiastically pursued up to a few weeks before she became a guardian angel.
She kept close with her family and life-long friends and would call for a get-together whenever the opportunity arose. She will be terribly missed by all those who knew her. Now more than ever she would want us to remember her favorite saying, "Keep your chin up".
A service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns Church in North Bennington, Vt. Interment will follow at the family plot in Center Shaftsbury, Vt.
