Bessie (Betty) M. Perrott

Bessie M. Perrott, 87, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Argyle, NY.

Bessie was born in West Arlington, VT on June 15, 1935 to Cecil and Lulu (Hoyt) Wilcox. Bessie was a graduate of Arlington High School and married Richard B. Perrott at St. Columban's in Arlington on October 19, 1957. Richard passed away on December 2, 2011. During their marriage, while Richard was in the Air Force, they resided in Rome NY, Satellite Beach, Fla, Hampton VA. and retired to Bennington Vt. Since 2016 she resided happily with Karen and Jim.

Bessie was a homemaker and great cook. She enjoyed sewing and needlecrafts and spoiling children. She also was a competitive bowler, bowling a 289 game and several 600 series. While living on the beach in Florida she surf fished almost every day along with other military wives. One day she pulled in a 6 foot Hammerhead shark. Florida was her "Happy Place".

Survivors are her daughter and husband Karen and James Orsini of Argyle NY, her son and wife Richard P Perrott and Tammy of Dallas NC and granddaughter Sara Moses of Vermont. A sister Mildred Neron and her son and wife, Robert and Dorothy Jennings and their families of Rapid City, South Dakota. Two special nieces Laurie Wilcox and Joyce Metcalf. Her God sent and lifesaving caregiver Valerie Parker who Bessie thought of as a daughter. No matter the day, Valerie always made her smile greeting Bessie with "Hello Beautiful". Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bessie was predeceased by her brothers Paul, William and Stuart Wilcox and sister Eugenia Woodard.
