BERNARD LOHAN OBITUARY
BENNINGTON, VERMONT
Bernard Michael Lohan, age 79, a resident of Arden, North Carolina, died on Saturday, March 2, 2019, following a long illness. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 12, 1939, and was the son of Patrick and Delia (Murphy) Lohan. He attended local schools. He married the former Shirley Tifft. Mrs. Lohan survives. Bernard had been a shipping Foreman at the the Olympus Company for many years. They had lived in Las Vegas for several years, before moving to North Carolina. He had owned a cabin in Woodford, VT for many years, and was a member of the Bennington Moose Lodge.
Besides his wife, he is survived by several step-children including: Fred (Sandy) Wilkins, Kathy (Butch) Williams, Debby Wilkins, Sheree Wilkins, Michael Wilkins and Mark (Lori) Wilkins. He leaves several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bernard has two brothers that survive: Andrew (Eileen) Lohan, and Jim (Laura) Lohan. Bernard is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two step-children; Randy Wilkins and Linda Mayer, one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bob Rice.
Funeral services will be held at the Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington on Friday, March 8, at 5:00PM. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00PM until the time of the service.
Interment will take place on Saturday, March 9, at 2:00PM at White Chapel Cemetery in Bennington.
