Barbara Jane Burnham

Barbara J. Burnham of Shaftsbury VT. passed away on November 1st after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Jane (Lescoe) Fingerhut. Barbara was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and Royal Beauty School in Schenectady, NY. She worked at Pricilla's Beauty Shop and later for the JCPenny Salon while serving on the State of Vermont board of Cosmetology for licensing. In earlier years, she served on the Shaftsbury Elementary School Board and as a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She is survived by her son Jason, her sister Beverly Cook of Schenectady, NY, her grandchildren Jackson, Madelyn, Lucy, Charlotte and Fletcher. Sister In-Law Linda Fingerhut, Brother In-Law Gary Cook, Niece Jamiee Fingerhut and Nephews Gary Cook (Jr) and Matthew Cook. She is predeceased by her her daughter in-law Nichole Burnham, nephew Joseph John Fingerhut, brother Joseph Fingerhut and sister Janis Fingerhut. No services will be held.
