Arlene Elizabeth Berry, 62, a resident of Monument Ave. in Bennington, VT died Wednesday August 18, 2021 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington following a brief illness.
She was born in Bennington, VT December 4, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha (Pratt) Berry. She received her education in Bennington and was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and later graduated from the Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn, NY with a Masters Degree in Art History.
Arlene, along with her sister Donna Maroney own the Walloomsac Inn in Old Bennington. She enjoyed art and painting. She was prolific in print making.
Survivors include two sisters, Donna Berry Maroney and Kathleen Kaiser both of Bennington. Two nieces, Sharron and Laura Kaiser of Bennington. A nephew, William Kaiser and his wife Nancy of Campbell, California. A great niece, Perri Jane Kaiser and a great nephew, Colin Kaiser both of Campbell, California. Two aunts, Marjorie Lampron of Bennington and Ethel Pratt of Branson, Missouri along with several cousins.
At Arlene's request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
