Anthony "Tony" J. Kane
October 8, 1958 — February 17, 2022
Tony was a dedicated employee of AT&T and served as a Technical Director for the company's corporate financial data systems. Over his 30 years at AT&T, Tony was true friend and colleague to his team, and he is fondly remembered by all as a someone who had the ability to find humor in any situation, no matter how challenging.
Tony was also an incredible father and grandfather. His generous spirit and love of life was apparent in how he interacted with the world. Every moment, regardless of formality, was lived to the fullest with a contagious amount of humor and fun.
Survivors include his two children, John Kane, and Susan "Liz" Bowman; his son-in law, Robert Bowman and his granddaughter, Elsie Bowman; his dog, Zeus; several siblings, Daniel J. Kane, Michael J. Kane, Patricia Mongiat, Peter J. Kane, Kitty Hayes, and James G. Kane. Tony is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Susan "Ducky" O'Brien.
A memorial service with calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 11:00 " 1:00 pm, followed by a burial of remains at the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery. To minimize any sadness, a gathering of family and friends for food, drinks, and fond memories will take place at the Bennington Elks Lodge following the services.
