Annette Marie Mayer

June 29, 1959 — October 20, 2024

Annette Marie Mayer (Florio), 65, passed away October 20, 2024, due to ongoing medical problems. A resident of North Bennington, she passed in the comfort of her bed surrounded by her beloved pets Malika, Binx, and Sasha.

She was the daughter of Janice Hurley (Voller) and Robert Florio. Though born in Schenectady, NY she spent most of her years in nearby Bennington, VT. She got most of her education at Mount Anthony Union High School, and later earned her GED as an adult.

Annette was a fan of the shows Dancing with the Stars, and The Voice. She loved dancing, laughing with others, and spending as much time with her children and grandchildren as she could.

She was married to, and is predeceased by, her ex-husband, Joseph Mayer. Though divorced they remained close friends for the rest of their years. She is also predeceased by her mother and youngest sister.

Annette leaves behind her children: Robert Florio, Laci Mayer, Timothy Mayer, Audrey Mayer, and MacKenzie Gallant. Her grandchildren: Kelsie Florio, Haley Gaudette, Benjamin Glennon, Cayce Jones, Paisley Mayer, and Shaun Florio. A great-grandson, Samuel Barker. She is survived by many other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the River Street Firehouse in Bennington, VT on November 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm for anyone who would like to come and join in her memory.
