Anne-Marie Tobin

Anne-Marie Tobin 53, a resident of Bennington, Vermont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday December 17th, 2023 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, following a long illness. Born on August 9th, 1970, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Maureen (Watson) Tobin. Anne-Marie was raised in Arlington, Vermont and later graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington with the class of 1988. Anne-Marie had many jobs, she was most well known for owning and operating her own daycare service; Little Munchkins . She later worked for many years as a waitress for Friendly’s restaurants in Bennington, Vermont and North Adams, Massachusetts. Anne-Marie was also a School Bus Driver for Dufour in Bennington. She enjoyed; playing bingo, attending her son Corbin’s dirt bike races, listening to her favorite music as loud as she could, shopping, cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her 4 children; Korinne Saunders, McKenzie (Caleb) Sandoval, Haley Saunders, and Corbin Saunders (Haley Sigsbury A.K.A. Little Mama). Her grandchildren; Caeden, Caleigh, Kinzleigh, and Malaki. Her sister; Kelly (Chris) Grover. Her nieces and nephews; Brianna, Kyra, and Caleb Morse. As well as many extended family members and friends. Calling hours for Anne-Marie will be from 4pm till 6pm on Thursday December 21st, 2023 at the Mahar Funeral Home in Bennington.
